I believe we are still going to have an area along 67 in front of Mt Woodson where we will be able to park. This is the area along southbound 67 (the Mt Woodson side) south of Hedy Drive, near the residential Mt Woodson Road.

Also, the recent Ramona Sentinel (January 15, 2026) has a nice article on the new Mt Woodson parking lot which mentions what I believe is this area not marked in red. The article has a quote that begins “However, there is still a segment that will allow people to still park on the SR-67 …”
The good news is that it appears there will still be some parking along 67 that can be used to access the Mt Woodson trail, just not as much as there is today.
